From whence cometh your grand-grand . . .parents? Try here. This
site links you to several places in Europe and America that might be
the source. For each, we can document family born in these towns
before 1900. Due to the large number of graphic images, ranging from
town halls and churches to gravestones, the areas are divided
geographically. Click on the Blue-highlighted-underlined area that
interests you. It may take some time to download the file from your
internet service provider. The "Between Speyer and Stuttgart" site,
for instance, is a third of a magabyte in size. It is best viewed on
a computer monitor with a viewing diagonal of at least 15 inches/38
centimeters.
